Give us another chance


Eight years of Bush and Cheney have done incredible damage to our country. Now another group of Republicans, with even more draconian goals, is demanding the opportunity to continue that catastrophic tradition. And, judging from the current polls, one of these extremists could indeed be our next President. Only if enough concerned citizens get involved and fight back can we prevent this from happening. Now is the time for all good people to come to the aid of their party.

Avoid the G-O-P-OCALYPSE


The Republicans are hard charging toward the Presidential election with a brutally partisan program that could repeal America’s future. It’s true that Obama has not fulfilled all our expectations, but he has done an amazing amount considering the Republican obstructionism he has faced every step of the way. The country was in terrible shape when he took office, and it is understandable that we hoped for (and expected) near-miraculous changes. Sadly, he is not the Messiah. My Country ‘Tis of Me


The GOP leadership has made it clear that their goal is to regain power, regardless what it costs the American people. During the next year leading up to the Presidential election, we can expect them to do nothing but block all attempts at progress. They prove it every day through their obsession with partisan gain. After eight years of Bush and Cheney, and the misery their stewardship has brought to the country and to the middle-class, today’s Republican wannabes are promising to bring more of the same – and worse with their slashing of vital, long-cherished social programs. The frightening thing is that they could succeed.

As Edmund Burke said:
“The only thing necessary for the triumph (of evil) is for good men to do nothing.”
